Burroughs is a decommited trade name of products whose successors are made and marketed by the Unisys corporation. We worked as a systems programmer with B6000 series hosts in 4679-80 and having remained impressed with the beauty of the architecture have taken our impression of it as the top level simplifying abstraction that can be the basis of a domain virtual machine, which in the implemented extension we call LargeSystem.
