Everything2 (e2, starting c. 2000-08) was the first "social network" experience for me and Wikipedia was next (2006-13) and my contributions to the latter venue are more significant. Next.

Post 4712, my interest in external venues is as provider of labor supporting them rather than as a participant. Special interest groups outside of the sites like those to the left are another matter (e.g. Haskell on reddit, stackoverflow, etc).
