Here is the big and simple Truth you must first understand about internet domain names :
Registries and Registrars don't own names, they just provide services to the actual owners who are the people that decide to use a name. Once you own a name it can never be taken from you in the public system as long as you are routing it. The system is constructed to prevent that, it's of its' essence.
