The old skin used the php based monobook, that's now migrated to the current MW universal skin based on mustache and less. The superficials are complete up to some stragglers like the styles on tabs. Not going to do the name migration until the SAR is fully operational. The old SSO was based on cobbled cruft, Remote_Authuser, and TalkRights instead of LDAP and that's now rotted anyway. The mediawiki 1.39 upgrade migration is complete and the process of applying the customizations has been taken up to the left nav. It won't become the production instance though until the MCP and SAR integration are ready at which time this will become eg.meansofproduction.biz and the version at that name will be eg-old. | |||
In the new level the distinctive skin is restricted to main space, everywhere else is regular current monobook. This preserves the impact scheme for main content and resolves problems with its application elsewhere. Aside from minor adjustments the apperance should otherwise be identical to 1.35, the matching process has just begun at this writing. | |||
