By the time it actually became popular, I had moved on. I'm still moved on but Nix and NixOS are not aesthetically in conflict with my architectures and I'm not opposed to somebody doing MCP integration of nix/nixos, guix, etc. though I have no interest in doing so myself. NixOS was an interest around the time this was created which was 4 or 5 years after it started, in the 2010 timeframe it was actually becoming my preferred base OS in a time I was so poor and precarious that I couldn replace a hard drive and was netbooting and running nixos a lot. By the time it actually became popular, I had moved on. I'm still moved on but Nix and NixOS are not aesthetically in conflict with my architectures and I'm not opposed to somebody doing MCP integration of nix/nixos, guix, etc. though I have no interest in doing so myself.
