The Larger Issue

The Chosen Ones was linked by that title from the EG nav, talks about UI/UX, etc in a pre-2012, pre dominion system, context.

The material in the fan-out from this page has an ancient, going back to the mid nineties aspect and one not well developed yet for the current (2012) time frame. It's sort of the current hysteria, disaster of ignorance and simplicity that several forces have combined to just steam roll the normal art, science, and engineering discipline, to the extent these may have developed over the last 40 years or so in favor of "design", meaning graphical design determined development with graphics people, not of HCI calibre, the general population, determining all kinds of serious system development from the most superficial and often enough plainly fraudulent basis. I'll have something more to say about this elsewhere, for now, keep it coming because it makes for people I can add to my happy list when I have to come in and remedy such situations. UI/UX in my Programming Practice

Replaced The Chosen Ones with this after a UI/UX jQuery UI and Coldfusion contract earlier this week and my intent on the Overview page for a new higher quality UI/UX from the dominion root. Root 23:02, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
