The "CV Space" content is preserved as a record of my wage labor worklife, and as a testament to contracted workers and customers. Some content, e.g. the responsive CV space Tour, things related to the long tail technical debt mentioned in the README (juan@acm.org), may be maintained. Other, especially older stuff such as Shockwave Flash (like the Old Web Portfolio), works if you have the client support for it and some older content broken by TLS (https), modern browser constraints, etc., will remain broken. This page replaced the linkage in the left nav to the following content, some of which may no longer be routed in the wild:

No sad venues
Took off the bit about not being on LinkedIn and instead of going for a broader statement just dropped it. Ugly capitalist shit, don't want. Worker stuffs, brang it. Root (talk) 02:59, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
Symbolism
First the toddler looks at the world with open joy. Next the adolescent looks ahead 50 years with distrust and apprehension at Senecio and his world. Root (talk) 07:26, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
Untitled
Intend for this to be stable level, any successor page will be a new name, with updates for the more or less annual PRAXISnn and primitive accumulation. Root (talk) 11:21, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Job markets today
Indeed is the major job market maker at this time, what was left of craigslist has such pretty much narrowed down to a few recruiting shops and the standard idiots. I don't think of myself as trolling when I respond to ads there but it's come to be taken that way, ending a long period of use. Pretty happy to just continue working self directed until earned income, the last being in '19 I think, is restored from sales. While my full expectation is that I will probably transit the window where taking a job would be worth it without closing on one, as long as it still is worth it and it's no more of a time eater than indeed has been of late, will continue to apply there in a rules based way.
I am not stressed and have learned to live within my fixed income, which with good health, is a great pleasure, but do plan to move on from rather than settle here. Looks like I will have been in the same place for a full 16 years which is by far the longest in my life in one unit. I made more money before social security, but it was precarious and there were times of scraping by which are now with the angst associated with having to have a job just a memory.
