Development hell, production support, sketches have accreted here since ACM hosting c. '93/941. Years, decades even, could separate conception and vintage doing. Dev stories aren't aspect/mood/tense qualified nor updated upon realization, when prose shifts to documentation. Some guidance ... First, our private   devops   space is not the public internet, AKA "the wild". Apps distributed via 3rd party market makers and production have some landings here (e.g. TOS, app/dev support). Finally, for end users, following production paths only as indicated in -1 above and avoiding dev space altogether may be the best advice. Devops users are expected to understand the SDLC state of an element either intuitively or as a result of guidance. ∞ ... and beyond!
